DLO Across subnet

I am having an issue using DLO on a laptop. The laptop resides in a workgroup, on a seperate subnet. I have a valid user account and settings in the domain that the Backup Exec server resides.
When prompted from the DLO client I use the account on the domain that backup exec server resides.

On the server I get the following alert:

Unable to configure the Desktop Agent on computer 'nc8230' for user 'NC8230\Chuck'. Error: Shadow::UserDB::ConfigureAdminDB.GetGroupList error 1355

What does this error mean, and how can I fix this?

This is a 10d server (build 5629).

Got an answer from support. Take a look at the article:

If you're not filtering skip the top and look at the bottom....this is what fixed my issues.

3. The following registry key must be created/modified on the client:

Key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MSSQLServer\Client\SuperSocketNetLib\LastConnect
Value: "NBU01\\DLO"="-134086648:np:\\\\NBU01\\pipe\\MSSQL$DLO\\sql\\query"Message was edited by:
