DLO Agent for MAC OS X is it possible??

We have a user that uses a MAC with OS X and we wonder if there is a existing DLO Agent for MAC that we could use or does it not support MAC OS ??

Hello,
The desktop agent can be installed on systems running Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional and Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 1 (SP1) or later. The Desktop Agent can be installed from the Backup Exec for Windows servers Administration console or from the user's desktop computer.

I would think that a DLO client for Mac's is indeed possible on OSX, & we would certainly buy more DLO licenses to cover our Mac users. However it does not appear that Veritas have one yet. Could we have some indication of progress towards Mac DLO?

Hi,

DLO can not be installed on or used with MAC OS.
However you can install MAC agent on MAC OS.
