In backup Exec 2014 I keep getting this message:

"Backup Exec found X Servers that do not have the Agent for Windows installed on them.  The Agent for Windows is required to back up the servers......"

The number of server changes most of the time I get the message.  I understand I can just turn off the message, but I do not have servers (at least as many as it tells me) without the agent on them.

Thus my question why can it not tell I have the Agent installed on my server?

If you are backing things like NAS on which you cannot install the remote agent, you would get this message. Make sure you have enough remote agent licences to cover both servers which you can install remote agents and storage devices which you cannot install remote agents

I am not backing up anything like a NAS, and as far as I can tell I have the proper number of licenses. I suppose I will just turn it off.
