Default Login Account could not be authenicated

A customer is running Windows Server 2003 & Symantec Backup Exec 10d
The Server was initially part of a Workgroup but has been changed to a Domain
Since the reconfiguration the Backup has not run & when I try to run the backup Wizard I get the message
"Your default login account cannot be authenticated
The Username & Password may be incorrect
Click ok to Edit your default login account"
I have followed the Change password procedure but cannot get round the problem
Is the fault likely to have come about because of the change to a Domain
How do I remedy this?

Thanks for all help

Probably, have you created a service account that is a domain administrator, backup operator, and have you gone to the BE services and changed their service account to the new account?

Don't forget all the exchange account requirements if you are backing that up too.

-- Try the Option 'Update Configuration for new Media Server Name' from BEUtility. Update the information here regarding the change in Domain from workgroup. Restart the BE services.
