Hi every one
My setup is Backup Exec 2012 SP3 with two storages attached.
One storage is local disks and the other is in a remote location. The remote location is intended for disaster situations, if my local storage has crashed.
My question is: If I delete a full backup set (Backup A) on my remote location storage, leaving behind some dependent incremental backup sets (B, C aso.)on the same storage, Backup Exec does not warn me, that these incremental backup sets exsist.
Is this because Backup Exec still can see the dependent full backup set (Backup A) on the local storage?
If "yes", then my incremental backup sets are useless, if my local storage crashes.
Can you change any settings, that will prevent Backup Exec from seeing the two attached storages as one big storage in these situations?
