Directory not backed up

Hi all,
On a backup server I created a backupjob to backup entire drive C: (inkl. Systemstate) on several remote servers (remote agent installed on all remote servers).
All looks good exept on one server the c:\temp directory (contains a couple of files) is not backed up.
No skipping info in JobLog no error nothing???
Created a new backup job to only backup this specific directory MyRemoteServer\C:\temp\*.* /SUBDIR
Job runs without errors or skipped files on restore tab an empty directory is shown (no files in the directory are backedup??
The files in this directory are not importent to me, leaves just a strange feeling what else could not be backedup as well.
Thx for a tip.

Hello,

Have you cataloged the media after performing the backup?

Hi,
- Catalog the tape after backup finished does not help.
(Only the empte "temp" folder is shown (if explicit backup only the c:\temp folder on remote system) If I check backup joblog I see only 680 Bytes backuped (0 Files, 2 directories)
- There are no excludes (not on this specific server nor global. On other remoteservers c:\temp directory is backeuped as expected)
- NTFS permissions checked. User "Administrator" (that's the logon account used by backupexec has full control on directory an files (if not there should be a error message in log?)

Any help is highly appreciated
TIA
Dan

Hello,

As the "Administartor" account has full control on c:/temp folder, does the system also has full control?

Hi again,
Yes System has full control as well.

Hello,

You can try a redirected restore and check if the files are restored. This will clarify if they are truly backed up or not.
Have you mounted drive C? From the backup job properties, advanced tab, are you checking the option 'backup files and directories by following junction points'?

Revert if the problem persists.
