ERROR: Minimum server memory value ... SP installs...

Whenever I attempt to install SP2 or SP3 I get the error below followed by a roll-back. The installer makes it to the "updateing configs" portion of the install then stops and rolls back.

ERROR: Minimum server memory value (761) must be less than or equal to the maximum value of (511).

Open the enterprise manager > right click on the server itself and properties > select memory > Change the dynamic configure sql to 530 for min and max. Then rerun the install one more time on the machine.
Else ty this:
Error:
" Setting SQL server max memory to XXX MB. Minimum server memory value (XXX) must be less than or equal to the maximum value (YYY). "

Details:
Above error message occurs if SQL Server memory settings are not set to configure dynamically.

Perform following steps if Backup Exec Database is installed in the existing SQL Server 2000 (SP3) Instance on the Network.
1.Use SQL Enterprise Manager to open the BKUPEXEC instance.
2.Right click on the BKUPEXEC instance and go to properties. Click on the Memory tab.

3.Confirm Dynamically configure SQL Server memory settings are set so Minimum(MB) is equal to or less than Maximum(MB)

Perform following steps if Backup Exec Database is installed in the separate MSDE 2000 (SP3) Instance locally on the Media Server.
In order to make changes in SQL Server memory settings on media server,SQL Management Tools related Sub-Components such as Enterprise Manager can be installed on Media Server.
1.Insert the Microsoft® SQL Server 2000 compact disc in your CD-ROM drive. If the compact disc does not auto run, double-click Autorun.exe in the root directory of the compact disc.
2.Select SQL Server 2000 Components, select Install Database Server, and then click Next at the Welcome screen of the SQL Server Installation Wizard.
3.In Computer Name dialog box, Local Computer is the default option, and the local computer name appears in the edit box. Click Next.
4.In the Installation Selection dialog box, click Create a new instance of SQL Server, or install Client Tools, and then click Next.
5.Follow the directions on the User Information, Software License Agreement, and related screens.
6.In the Installation Definition dialog box, click Client tools only, and then click Next.
7.In the Select Components dialog box, accept the defaults or select the components you want, and then click Next.
You can select an item in the Components list, such as Management Tools, and then select items from the related Sub-Components list, such as Enterprise Manager. Click to select items you want to install; clear the check box of the items you do not want to install.
8.For information about each component, select the item, and view the Description box.
9.In the Start Copying Files dialog box, click Next to complete the installation of the client tools.

After installing (only) Enterprise Manager on the Media Server perform the following steps :
1.Use SQL Enterprise Manager to open the BKUPEXEC instance.
2.Right click on the BKUPEXEC instance and go to properties. Click on the Memory tab.
3.Confirm Dynamically configure SQL Server memory settings are set so Minimum(MB) is equal to or less than Maximum(MB)
