Hi I'm using Backup Exec 12 on Server 2003, and I am trying to set-up email notification.
I understand Backup Exec is not capable of using SSL for SMTP (which my mail host requires).
I am wondering as a work-around is it possible to specify a separate SMTP server per recipient? (I need to send out the notification to users on 2 different domains)

Hi,
refer to VJware's workaround here: https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/forums/getting-duplicate-email-notifications-after-job-completion-be-2012

Hi,
As long as you can reach those SMTP servers, and the test mail notification works, there should be no hassles with doing it this way.
Thanks!

I was hoping I wouldn't have to work-around this by altering the mail server settings
