Error reading/writing data from/to the media

Hi All, we are using symantec backup exec 10d. two days ago i cleaned the HP drive after that i am receiving different errors, so i erased the some tap disks data after that it is showing in device. i dont know why it is happening, i tried to export and import disk and did inventory but no luck can anyone please tell whta is the cause? Errors: Backup 00418 -- The job failed with the following error: Error reading/writing data from/to the media. Mutiple Alerts occured Regards Ali

Do i need to clean drive again, can you please tell me steps what is the proper technique to clean.

with some disk after erased it is showing bad media i dont know why before cleaning it was working fine.

i can take backup in only 2 disks after erase out of 8 disks. it seems serious probelm.

Its mostly issue with the hardware and also many times fixed by updating the drivers for the Tape drive with the latest symantec drivers.
Make sure you reboot the server and library after the driver installation
