Errors when backing up Exchange to disk

I've been experimenting with backing up my Exchange databases to disk. It seems to work fine for a couple night's backups and then I get the following:

Backup- \\SERVER\Microsoft Information Store\First Storage Group An unknown error occurred on device "backup-folder".
V-79-57344-34036 - An unknown error has occurred.

I saw this on BE 10d and now on 11d. Per the link, I've re-created the backup to disk folders and re-cycled the services, but continue to see the same error.Message was edited by:

Backup to disk folder is on local drive or it is shared device?

Also what errors are you getting in the event logs?
