Event ID33152 Adamm Mover Error: GetDriveInfo Failure

Unable to eject the tape when pressing the eject button or running an eject job. All backups fail as the tape drive is dormant and non-responsive. Server restsrts do nothing, Device manager says runnig fine and have updated with latest Veritas patches.

Big help as no backups now taking place. The system was stable and good up to about 2 weeks ago.

Any changes made about that time?  Service Pack, Hot Fix, new devices?

Have you tried a few passes of the Manufacturer's Diagnostics against the drive?

The cleaning light keeps coming on. I updated to the latest drives and managed to eject the tape somehow and is now working but fails saying may be error hardware or dirty.... any ideas ?

Please see the log below of a test run for the daily backup, here the media capacity fails but the same size has run successfully beforehand
