Exchange Snapshot problem

I'm running Backup Exec 10d backing up a remote Exchange 2003 server with the exchange agent installed.

I just went to restore a mail store to the recovery storage group as I had in previous versions and found out about the snapshot issue with the RSG. Is there a way to back up without using a snapshot so I can use the RSG?

Hi,

You may backup the Exchange data-Information store, mailboxes and public folders using just the Exchange agent.

You can disable the Advanced Open File Option and perform "traditional backups" of Exchange data.

Does this mean that the AOFO should be uninstalled from the Exchange Server, or is there some other way to disable it in the job, options, etc?
