Hallo,
Chris

Use Server 2008 R2 as a media server for BE 12.5. It is not supported. See the SCL below
If you want to use Server 2008 R2 as a media server, you need to upgrade to BE 2010. You can upgrade to BE 2010 for free if you have a current maintenance contract. You would need a new set of licence keys for BE 2010.

Refer to http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH84759
Also try using another domain admin account

OK, I already checked this, but the beremote.exe is listening at port 10000.
I already tried to use another user account (with admin rights on the remote machine), without success.
Do you have any other idea, are the systems compatible ?
Thanks for your support.
Regards,
Chris

No, I only want to use the 2008 R2 server as a remote agent.
'As I already told, the installation is running fine, but when I try to select the servers content while creating a new backup session I got this error.
I already reboot the server, uninstalled the client, and checked the firewall of R2 which is offline.
Thanks for any comment.

To support Server 2008 R2, you need to install hotfix 331998 which you do not have and is not included in SP4
