Final error: 0xe00084bf - A restore Job is already in progress. Rerun your job, after the current job has finished.

All of my backup jobs are failing at the very end with this message. I've searched the knowledge base and Google, but can't find anything about it. Can someone assist me? The backup system is brand new and worked great for one week before this started happening.

Hello,

Please let us know whether you have lotus domino.

If yes then are you selecting Advanced Open File Option while backing up the Lotus database, if so, deselect AOFO. You need not select AOFO when backing up databases which are backed up by their respective agents.


Also please try uninstalling domino agent and then reboot the server and then try installing the domino agent again and then observe the result.

We were not using the Advanced Open File Option, so I went ahead and uninstalled and reinstalled the Remote Agent. However the backup still failed with the same error message on the Lotus Notes servers.

Hi,

Try installing the Hotfix 17, the URL for this Hotfix is:

This hotfix requires Backup Exec 10.0.5484 Service Pack 1.

After having installed the service Pack and the hotfix, the Remote Agents on the remote servers need to be reinstalled.
