hi,
i get this after the backup daily :
Error "a000fe2d, The backup of the item is bad" could occur while backing up Exchange mailbox. If a corrupt file or a corrupt attachment is present in one of the mailboxes, the job would fail during an attempt to verify a particular file.
You may get related errors related to mailbox backup in the job log, for example:
WARNING: "\\MAILBOX\Microsoft Exchange Mailboxes\Mailbox ?Top of Information Store?Inbox?????????????? - Subject" is a corrupt file.
This file cannot verify.
ok,i try to split the job like you say (between exchange mailboxes and other backups),the problem is that
the software cannot write two jobs at the same time to the tape.
so,how can i split the jobs so both of them work together at the same time.

You cannot run two jobs at a time to same tape. So, you would have to run one after another. So, you may want to run file system backup and mailbox backup may follow. This message that you are receiving is basically because during backup, we get some corrupt message. If this happens with some specific messages, identify the message in those mailboxes and delete them, or deselect them from backup, if there are not many.
