is there any way to install the remote agent for unix systems on freebsd? Any special steps needed outside what the BE11D manual states for normal unix/linux clients? Will I experience performance issues, etc? Thanks.
Sorry, FreeBSD is not a supported O/S. I do not know of anyone that has successfuly installed and used a Linux/UNIX agent to back up a FreeBSD system. You may wish to go to http://enhancement.veritas.com/, where you can submit this as a feature request.
