Help licence Agent for Applications and Databases

Hi all,

I need help for choosing a licence for "Agent for Applications and Databases" because I want to backup an Oracle Database in the same server, I mean where Backup Exec 2012 is.

I dont need anything else as support or dont know what, but don't hesitate to ask more details if needed.

You need 1 x Agent for Applications and Databases that will allow you to backup the Oracle DB.

My problem is to chose the correct version of this Agent for Applications and Databases plugin, cause there's thousands of different versions (for exemple EDU, which I dont need) and I logically want to pay what I need and no more! Thanks.

Well, EDU would only be used if you're an educational facility.

Simply contact a Symantec reseller, or the Symantec licensing department and ask them for a quote for a corporate client.

There's only one version of Agent for Applications and Databases(it consolidates the Agent for Active Directory, Exchange, SharePoint, SQL, Lotus Domino, Oracle and Agent for Enterprise Vault).
