I Can't see a linux/unix server in the selection list BE 2010

hello, in my BE 2010 R3, can't see the linux servers in selection list in new job, i already install the ralus agent on linux server, but still do not see the server

besides, i add the root user for this machine in the logon accounts, and nothing happens

Make sure media server's name or IP is added in the publishing of remote agent.

Also check what application is using port 10000, Try adding the IP of the remote server in the 

user defined selection.

the ip and name of my mediaserver it is in the publishing of remote agent, and the port 10000 is exclusive for the agent (i hope...)

also, i add to user defined selection, but still do not show in the list...

Are you able to telnet to and from the linux box over port 10000

Hi.

Make sure that process is running:

Go to /etc/init.d/VRTSralus.init  and type: services VRTSralus.init status.

If it is running, stop it and then start again.

Check which application is using port 6101, this port should be used by agent browser.

Also disable IP V6

well, finally i try with ralus 12.5.2213, and works!

now i see in the selection list the linux server, folders and subfolders to backup.

Hello supportsib2, I don't know why but Backup exec 2010 have this issue so you have two to solved

1 - Uninstall RALUS version 5204.4 (BE2010) and then install the version of BE12.5

2 - Install SP1 of BE2010R3
