IBM X345 and ADIC Faststor2 installation of BE 9.1

I have an ibm x345 running Win2003 with a adaptec 29160 scsi card with a ADIC faststor 2 attached using backup exec 9.1. the server sees the card and the faststor, but backup exec does not see the library. I keep getting the blue screen of death or the server just keeps rebooting. Once I finally get the server to come up, backup exec is uninstalled. Any ideas what is going wrong? I have another site with the same issue.

Hello,

What drivers are you using? Please try uninstallin gthose completely and installing either Veritas drivers if those present are OEM or vica versa.

What is the message that you get on the blue screen?

Check if the device is compatible with backup exec:
