Hello,
You can refer to the following document which has info. related to this error.
http://support.veritas.com/docs/263176
During the IDR Restore, in the IDR recovery wizard, after specifying the media server name and password, the remote server being recovered should be listenin on port 10000. Because it is at that point that the Backup Exec Remote Agent for Windows Servers is installed on the remote server.
To see if the remote server is listening on TCP port 10000, hit Alt+z to bring up a command prompt, and enter: netstat -an
If you do not see port 10000 listed, at the command prompt, enter: sc query BackupExecAgentAccelerator.
If port 10000 does not appear in the 'netstat' command output and BackupExecAgentAccelerator fails to appear in the 'sc' command output, check functionality of the NIC on the remote server. Use the IPCONFIG command to determine the status of the remote server's NIC and IP address. The NIC may be non-functional due to driver issues. And in addition to all the above mentioned failures, if the remote server's NIC is found to be working properly, then the issue could be due to a corrupted IDR ISO Image.Recreate the ISO image if testing IDR or perform a manual restore to restore the server.
