Importing IMG-Files ... I guess its a difficult problem ...

Hello,

I have the following problem wiht BE 12.5, Ex2007 and Win2003:

For testing reasons I set up a parallel installation of our Domain. My objective  was to test a deaster recovery of our Exchange 2007 server via BE 12.5.

Here is what I did:

I Installed a Exchange2007 on one server in the testing  envoirment. I also installed BE 12.5 in this testing envoirment on a different server ...

My idea was to copy the IMG files of the Ex2007 full backup to a portable dirve and invernotry and catlouge them into the test BE 12.5 and then revoer them to the test 2007 Server.

But after Inventoring the copied files into the new BE12.5 some problems occured.
I can see the files in the new B2D folder and it shows them in the right size.
BUT when I try to recover them the files seem to be empty.
When got to recover on the live system the same files show what they are supposed to show... the storage groups and everything ... but on the test system they seem to be empty :(

What is the problem??
Every help is apreciated!

Greetings
Andreas Maritn

btw. I already checkt this article but it doesnt help to much :(

If ese.dll file is missing on the media server then you might not be able to see the restore selections for IMG file. Make sure that Exchange Managment tools are installed on the backup server :

Hope this helps.
