I have 11d on a pc right now and its really struggling. I have plans to move it to a server but I am very new to the world of backup exec, and really backups period. I am wondering if someone has a brief "starter guide". Basically, I am uncertain of the whole install deal. When I put my emulex cards into my machine, do I install them with the drivers that came with them? what is this stuff about using "symantec drivers"? my current system has the emulex cards using emulex drivers and the tape drives using symantec drivers. Can someone tell me how this works? or point me to a good document. I downloaded the admin guide but its a bit daunting.
