Installation of BE 2014

Is there any impact to BE 2014 after change the hostname ?

It's standalone server, BE backup this server only.

...there shouldn't be, but run bemig.exe to migrate the BEDB just in case.

Note2: This article is not valid for Backup Exec 2014 and later releases. In these releases, the server rename does not require any manual changes.

So the only thing you need is restart of the Be services.
