Level 2

I am think to replace my current backup software with symantec backup exec 2012.

As I will installing the symantec backup exec 2012 onto my AD server in my office.

Just wondering will the software work on the AD server as i only have 1 server in my office. Currently I do not have any SQL server running on my AD server.

And I also wonder the following statement do it apply to me

"You cannot install SQL Express or SQL Server 2005 on a Windows Server 2008 computer that is configured in a Read Only Domain Controller (RODC) role."

You can load BE onto a machine with AD provided it is not a RODC.  You should check with your AD expert whether the machine with AD is a RODC.
