My colleges at a remote location using BE 8.5 Rev 4106 for Win client data backup. After changing the encoding on the server to UTF-8, they're encountering a lot of error lines in the log files, stating "Insufficient privilege for <folder>/<folder>/.../<folder> - SKIPPED.
The logfile lines show folder names without national characters (the Hungarian ones), so our main conclusion is that the BE can't resolve them, and by using the "nearest" character, it misses the real folder where the real data is.
My easiest solution would be forcing the users to use characters for folder and file naming only from the English alphabet, but I was wandering if this is the real problem, and if so, is there some kind of update, patch or setting for this version of BE that makes it accept national characters?
