Interface is unknown

bendikje
Not applicable
We did a new install of BackupExec and everything looked to install correctly (no error messages) All services start, but when we start BackupExec, we get the prompt to connect to the media server and no matter what username we put in there (the system account we created, a domain admin account) we get an error message "The interface is unknown"

We looked at document id 273989 and this did not solve our problem (we didn't have anything configured for port 6106)

This is on a Windows 2000 server w/sp4 and we were install BackupExec 9.1 build 4691. We have installed BackupExec on other servers and have not had this problem before.

Thanks,
