Internal error:Synchronization management walking containers on source server failed

I have searched these boards and google and I cant find anything related.

 

The exact error is: The pair on source computer 'xxxx', destination computer 'xxxx' for job 'xxxx' canceled due to an error. : Internal error: Synchronization management walking containers on source server failed and has exited. : The requested journal set could not be started.

 

We have 21 sites running CPS and this is the only 1 with issues.

 

CPS  box is Win 2003 32bit SP2, running BE CPS 11d, build 11.1.407.4003. The remote box to backup is: Win 2003 64bit, SP2.

 

11GB free space on the C:drive  and 122GB free space on the journal drive.

 

CPS is set Continuous for our backups.

 

When we start the job, it reports starting->gathering Info->running->canceled.This  happens immedietly after starting the job.

Hi,

Aslavens, I have the same error . Could you tell me the size of data/type of data you are trying to backup? Mine fails trying to backup users remote My Docs folders. If I select the share that contains around 76 folders totaling 30 ish GB, it fails. However if I try manually specifying half of the 76 user folders, it works OK.

Info on cps is sketchy at best, so I will keep digging
