This happened on a backup last night it has never happened before

Unable to open the item C:\System Volume Information\catalog.wci\00010001.ci - skipped.

File System Volume Information\catalog.wci\00010003.ci was not found, or could not be accessed.

It seems those file were in use at the time of the backup. You will need the AOFO option or try to backup 'with a lock' to get those files backupped.

Hello,

Refer to the following technote that deals with the catalog.wci files being skipped.

The exception "Item \\Server\C:\Inetpub\catalog.wci in use - skipped" is received in the job log during backup.
