Job Completed with Execptions

Hi,

I installed Backup Exec 2010 R2 on my Windows 2008 R2 Service pack 1 & i installed remote linux agent BEWS_12.5.2213_LINUX-UNIX-MAC-SAP_AGENTS on my RHEL 5.6 (64 bit) BEWS_12.5.2213_LINUX-UNIX-MAC-SAP_AGENTS..

All are installed Successfully ...

After finishing the jon am getting the message like :

The Job is completed Successfully. However , the following conditions are encountered

 The target computer is running a previuos version of Backup exec remote Agetnt. You must upgrade the remote agent..256 files were skipped.

BE does not support RHEL 5.6, upto 5.4 is supported that too by the latest version of BE i.e BE2010R3.

The reason for exception is that you are using BE2010 as the media server and you have installed

BE12.5 agent so there is version mismatch. I m not sure if BE2010 agent will get installed & work fine

on the RHEL 5.6 linux box. Its always recommended to go with supported configuration.

Refer to the software compatibility list of BE12.5 and BE2010R3.
