Hi all,

Alerts say:Error Job was canceled by administrator

After restarting the services it runs a few times ok
Then the same problem occurs again, with direct run jobs and sheduled jobs.

Hello,

-- Are you taking local backup or remote backup?

-- Are you getting an alert like "insert the overwritable media"?
-- Whar are the overwrite potection period and append period?
-- Are you getting any errors as "Event id 7, 9, 11 or i5 in the system event log"?

-- Have you connected the device to the raid controller?

============================================
This problem can occur if you click on "Hold Schedule" the actual job which is running will run. It will put Hold for the next schedule of the same job.
You need to uncheck "Hold Schedule" once the job finished such that job should run fine according to next schedule.
Example.
If you are running JOB A and put it on hold while it is running that means the running job will finish.
But if JOB A was schedule to run after 1 day again. It will not run. You need to uncheck "hold schedule" then it will run according to schedule.

Please keep us updating on this issue.

Hello,

- Please try a backup on a backup-to-disk folder and verify the results.
- Is there any error code?
- Are there any alerts?
- Stop the RSM service and verify the results.
