Foldendes Scenario:
- Windows Server 2003 R2 Standard
- Backup Exec 2010 R2 Quick Start Edition
- Symatec Endpoint Protection 11.0

Once the job ends, there will be an alert asking you to remove the tape from the drive. Until you respond to the alert and remove the tape from the drive, the job will not end.
You can also de-select the "Eject after job complete" option and eject the tape manually, in which case, the job will end when everything is complete.
Alternatively, you can go to Tools --> Alerts Categories and configure an auto-response for the Media Remove alert.

If you are using a stand-alone tape drive and have selected the Eject after job complete option, you job will not end until you have removed the tape from the tape drive.

Hi,
I use a stand alone drive and have marked "Eject after job complete" option.
