Jobs not finishing

I am running Backup Exec 11d with an Iomega REV 70 drive. The jobs appear to run ok, but they never complete. all the data seems to be backed up though. i have to cancel the job to finish. i set the auto cancel but it does not end the job. after cancelling the job says cancel pending, i have to use pstools command pskill to stop the job engine, then restart the job engine to get my scheduled jobs to continue. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have eject as part of the job definition?

Is there an Active Alert to "remove media and click on OK"?

i do have eject after completion marked.

there is no alert.

Try removing Eject and Eject manually

I've never used REV drives, but I do know that when using tapes, if you select EJECT, jobs can contiunue "running" until the tape volume is physically removed
