Löschen von Medien vor Backup-Task

Hallo,

wir benutzen Backup Exec 10 und ein Tandberg Data mit 80GB Wechselmedien (sind 2,5" Festplatten). Nun ist aber die Cartridge voll und ich hab händisch die Medien gelöscht. Da ich aber nicht immer vor Ort bin, wollte ich nun einstellen, dass die Medien vor dem Backup immer gelöscht werden. Diese Funktion fand ich jedoch nicht. Ebenfalls kann man ja garnicht mehr einstellen wie man sein Backup machen will. Also immer volles Backup oder inkrementell ... Es wird sowieso ein inkrementelles Backup gemacht.

Meine Frage: Kann man irgendwo einstellen, dass das Medium vor dem Backup-Task gelöscht wird, so dass immer eine neue komplette Sicherung entsteht?

Configure backups to overwrite, the data will be only ovewritten if the overwrite protection expires.

Make sure you configure the media sets in such a way that the overwrite period expire before the 

next schedule of backup.

Sie können becmd und konfigurieren Sie es in einer Batch-Datei und starten Sie die Datei als "Pre-Script" vor tha bcakup.

The -o111 switch for BEMCMD is for erasing tape.  The user is using a B2D folder.  Please so not post for the sake of posting.

Go to Tools ---> Options and ensure that you have this setting.

Otherwise, BE will create more .bkf files, rather than re-using old .bkf files
