Lacie Ethernet Disk RAID - can Backup Exec connect to and backup data from?

I'm considering buying a Lacie Disk Raid but I have had issues with Backup exec not "seeing" network drives - even with licenses.

I want to store data on the Lacie 2TB but I need to back it - will Backup exec work with this drive -do I need to buy special licenses?

if so what are the part numbers?

Assuming that the Lacie runs what BackupExec would see as a ServerOS all that you would need is to purchase a serial for the RemoteAgent and install the serial on the media server. Assuming that you cannot actually install the RAWS code on the Lacie itself, that ought to suffce
