Lizenzdatei für Backup Exec 2010

Habe einen gebrauchten DAT160 Streamer von Quantum erworben.

Sicherung soll auf LTO Ultrium umgestellt werden, vorhandener HP Streamer ist defekt.

Benötige noch DAT160 Laufwerk, um die vorhandenen Archivbänder lesen zu können.

Bei dem gebrauchten Quantum DAT 160 Streamer ist eine Vollversion von Symantec Backup Exec 2010 enthalten. Diese würde ich gerne nutzen, um unser vorhandene Verison 12 zu updaten.

Lizenz ist aber bereits registriert.
Quantum kann mir nicht weiterhelfen oder Lizenz nochmals zur Verfügung stellen.
Support von Quantum meint ich müsste mich an Symantec wenden.

Wie komme ich an das *.-slf Lizenzfile?

Hi,

I will try to upgrade version 12 to 2010.
Installation procedure is clear. Program said it will be able to upgrade.

Problem is the licence file.
I bought a used streamer because mine is not working anymore.
Backup Exec 2010 was included.
But the licence is already registered by another user.

I need the slf licence file to insall BE 2010.

Contact Symantec licensing team. But i don't think they will encourage transferring licenses from one customer to another customer. Very narrow chance to get it done....
