Manual Intelligent Disaster recovery fails.

The Manual Intelligent Disaster recovery of a WIN 2000 server Failed.

I have tried the following options

1. Recovering the whole backup in a single job.
2. Recovering the C drive, D drive, Utility partition and System state in separate jobs.
3. Tried with the same job setting which was created by BEWS during the automated IDR.

In all the cases the job completes successfully but the client gives an error " unable to load System hive: error 2x0"
and client PC fails to boot up after restart. I am unable to find out the relevant document which is helpful in this regard.
Please help me out.

Regards,
Girish N.

Hello,

'unable to load system hive.'

Hello,

Restoring system state on a i

Try restoring the C drive and the System state only for the first time.
and then the rest of the drives and components.

Also please let us know, how different is the system that you are restoring to from the system you backed up the data from.

Thanks
