Move BE12.5 to BE2010 R3 with SP1 to anothr Hardware and OS Version

Hello,

i have a backup exec 12.5 server i want move and upgarde my backup software to Backup Exec 2010 R3 with Difftent hardware and diffrent Operation Sysytem

Old Server :

 Version : BE12.5

 OS: Windows 2003

 DB: SQL Express in the Same server

New Server :

 Version : BE 2010 R3 With SP1

 OS       : Windows 2008 R2 With SP1

 DB       : SQL Express in the Same Server

note:

i have B2D folder in the old server and i want to move to the new one

in the new server i have a De-Duplication installed and active it

i follow the document but my BE2010 it is notworking.

i guess i have to format the server and reinstall BE 2010 without configure the de-Dup. fetures

...so what you do then is the following:

1. Upgrade your current server to BE 2010 R3 and patch.

2. Load BE 2010 R3 on the new server and bring it up to the same patch level.

3. Use the TN below to migrate between the servers...
