Moving "Keep data infinitely" from SAN to Tape

I have recently started exploring the moving of our backups off site with LTO 4 tapes and I was wondering if it is possible to move existing backups from a "Backup to Disk" folder on our SAN to the LTO 4 tapes in the "Stand-Alone Drives"

I cannot find any obvious way to effectively backup a backup, or just move a pre existing backup to tape and clear it from the SAN.

Is this obvious or will all future backups have to be backed up a certain way which allows them to move from SAN to LTO?

This is with Backup Exec 12 for Windows Server
