In BE 2012, only one Disk Storage can be created per volume of a local disk.

Hi,
If you are talking about normal backup-to-disk folders, yes you can. Create them in BE and they're created on the drive, allowing you to direct specific jobs to specific B2Ds.
For a deduplication folder, only 1 dedupe folder per media server.
Thanks!

Hi Vjware,
because I have a lot of servers so that I want to create multiple storage for these servers. I don't want backup to one storage only (because I think that is very difficult to manage)
In the past, I can do this in BE2010 R3, but unable in BE2012.
Hi CraigV,
Could you explain more details about backup-to-disk folders and how to create them in BE2012?
Thanks a lot for your help!

Why should you be managing what goes in the storage? Let BE do it. You would just have to accept the fact that you are unable to create more than 1 storage per volume.
