Multiple logical disk resore.

Hello, folks.

I have a porblem:

When full backup of virtual machine is done, i am unable to restore all disks on this machine.

I can see only C:\ drive, but there is no such: D:\, E:\ and so on.

It is posible to make GRT restore only for C:\ drive or full virtual machine restore.

I already deleted and made a new backup job, but it didn't help.

We have Symantec Backup exec 2012 instaled on Windows Server 2008 std.

Thanks in advance.

Porblem is solved.

All disk were dynamic, not basic.

I think that was the problem.

Thanks.

Is your enviornment Hyper-V or VMware?

Also in terms of the VM you backed up what is different abouth the C: drive compared with D: and E: as it is possibly something to do with those drives cannot be supported by a GRT enabled VM backup?

Does the backup job log have any errors (possibly regarding GRT)?

GRT should work with all drives in a VM (as long as the drive configuration is supported)

Hello Rustam,

Is there a RAW or Independent disk attached to the VM??

RAW or Independent Disk backups are not done using the Backup Exec Virtualization agent.
