NAV Corporate v7.6 Definition Files

Looking for a quick answer.  I am auditing an environment and the client has Norton AntiVirus Corporate v7.6 installed on their Windows servers and PCs.  I see this product went End Of Support Life in 2005.

Question:  Will the virus definitions being released today (August 2008) work with this version?  The client showed me that a new file has been updated on the servers (file has date of 8/10/08), but is it working?

 

Trying to understand if client is virus protected or not.
