Need assistance suggesting products for backing up over wan

Which Symantec products can be used to backup locally and send a copy over WAN to DR site?  What is the bandwidth requirements?  Is there a calculator for this?  What is the storage requirements best for this situation? iSCSI? NAS?  Assuming WAN speed is T1.

BE can do what you want. You would need to set up media servers on both ends of the link with the dedup option and you would need CASO which is part of ESO. You backup to the local dedup folder and then duplicate the backup set across to the other dedup folder. This is called optimized duplication. Bandwidth will depend on the amount of data that is shipped across the link but with optimized duplication, only the changed data blocks will be sent across the link, this minimizing the bandwidth required. The dedup folders need to be on local disk so iSCSI is needed

Hi,

==To save the time for optimized deduplication and bacndwidth for the first FULL backups - you can try seeding for Deduplication.
