Currently I have BUE 12 SP1 installed and I see in the license agreement section that the AOFO is not installed. I found the installation guide and used this to install the option by going into Tools and "Install Options and License Keys".
After the initial screen I am able to select from a list of options, so I select the AOFO and hit next. It appears that BUE tries to reinstall most of not all compnents rather than just AOFO. I see it freeze on the Installing SQL Express sections and then errors out and references the following document V-225-53 which indicates that there is an issue with the SQL instance on the server. I dont want to reinstall SQL I just want AOFO. Does anyone know of a way round this, Is there an executable somewhere that installed only the AOFO agent? I dont want to speak to Symantec support as the last they caused a huge outage at my client by crashing the NAS.
