Network Storage Backup

Quick question.

Because of the limited functionality of NTBackup in SBS 2003, we cannot backup the network storage device -- a LaCie Ethernet Disk. We are considering going to veritas 10.0 for SBS to resolve this issue.

Will Backup Exec for SBS backup other network drives (drives NOT connected to the server)?

As you have mentioned here that you want to backup other network drivees (drives not connectedc to the server) , here do you mean that you want to backup teh remote servers?

If our undersatnding is correct, then yes you can backup the remote server's drives using backup exec v10.0.
If our understanding resgarding your issue is incorrect please elaborate it.
