Newbie question - is Mac 12.5 agent compatible with BE 10d ??

Hello folks,

I am trying to set up some new Mac servers in a windows environment. The backup department is running BE 10d and I need to purchase some compatible Mac agents. Are the current 12.5 agents compatible with version 10d software?

I have checked the scl but as I know absolutely nothing about backups or BE, I can't seem to find the information I need.

You will need to request 10.1 agents for Mac.

Some issues you may run into is the job will fail with an error regarding the differering agent versions.

Another avenue is to push the backup team to 12.5 :)
