Not Working Correctly with Remote Agent?

HI there,

One of my clients is currently running Backup Exec 11d across his 120 user organisation. They are currently in a position where they need to back up approximately 600gb a night. One of their servers has a remote agent installed, where nightly, it is shown to be sending all information across to the tape backup. However, the although the information is routed correctly is is not written to the tape although the logs clearly do show this.

If you switch to media view and find one of those tapes, what does BackupExec think is on it?

Any possiblity that the backup is being overwritten by a following job?

It thinks that there is everything on it APART from the Remote Agent Backup.

In media view you can see the "directory" that the backup is on the tape, but theres nothing in it. Although the backup report states that it has all been backed up sucessfully.

No, each tape is more than large enough (800gb) and there is one tape per day, excluding weekends.

Hmm What happens if you try a test job of that one Remote Server only?
