What is recommended for cluster size when formatting a SATA harddrive in preparation for LAN/Offsite backups?
We usually format the drives with the default size but wonder if there is something we need to change to increase the performance/speed of writing to the drive?
Would the type of drive you format it in, like basic, primary, secondary, have an affect on the speed of backups?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
