We have just added an additional 2003 server to our network.
Can you confirm the options / agents I require to backup:

Local 2003 Server inc system state
Remote 2003 Server with Exchange 2003 inc system state

you need 1 X Backup Exec 10 for the local W2K3 server

and 1 X MS Exchange Agent for the remote W2K3 server running Exchange.
The exchange Agent includes the license for one Remote Agent for Windows, that you have to install on the remote exchange server.

With these two licenses you could backup both servers, incl. System state / Shadow Copy Components, as well as Exchange online.

This is the minimum license you need. (Not talking about robotic libraries, Open File Option etc.)

Hello,

As mentioned in the above reply, you will need to install the Backup Exec base license for 9.1 or 10.0 as the case might be. You will need to purchase the Exchange license for the remote Exchange server. The license will be installed on the Backup exec server and the remote agent should be installed on the Exchange server using the following procedure:
