Oracle Backup Agent

What is the servers port and service, that must be listening backup server? Problem is, that oracle backup agent is not able to response to backup servers requests...

Hello,

When the Oracle server does not respond, does it give any error message? The Oracle agent uses TCP 6101. Refer to the following technote:

What is the version of Oracle? Since when does the problem occur? Ensure that the Oracle agnet is properly installed as per the following technote:

Hi,

BackUp server returns the following error every time:

Unable to attach to ORACLE_Server_name/ORAC.

Oracle version is 9.1i and the problem occured after power failure and server shutdown.
