Hi All,

I'd like to know about the Lotus Domino 6 Agent Full Backup, with the single server config:

Windows Server 2003 R2 SP2

Lotus Domino 6 Server

BE 12 + Domino Agent

(all in the same server)

1 MBps WAN link connected to File Server

Over the weekend I initiated the full backup for my Lotus Domino 6 using remote agent and until Monday (today) the backup still going ?

in total there are 40 GB of dir. size and the backup rate is 2 MB / Minutes ? is this normal ?

how to speed up the backup process ?

thanks.

Was BackupExec waiting for a response to the "Remove Tape and Click OK" alert?

If so, the job timer will continue to run, and thus the through put will continue to drop untio the tape is removed or you reply to the alert

You can either remove "Eject-on-End" from the job or enable an autoresponse to avoid this

Hi Albert,

The backup speed depends on various factor, one of them being the WAN link speed and perhaps there is another backup job running or another task in background (Disk Defragmenting or AV scanning) ?
